US Authorities demand personal information from Travellers

Usually, I'd turn on my sarcastic, satirical voice and make mocku-fun out of this story.
I'd like to state that we're on the verge of Fear and Insecurity taking over North America, plummeting America into its own devastating Dark Ages. All that's left is Loathing.
US authorities are demanding to have highly personal information about travelers entering the US. Information such as religious beliefs, personal opinions and sexual preferences.
You may think I'm fear-mongering, but this just seems like a comic book-dystopia... entering the US, they'll know if you're anti-Bush or is you like to spank your wife with cherry-red dildo.
And while the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) cheerfully disagrees that the information will be used for evil, remember this is an administration run by the war chief George Bush, who invades countries for invisible weapons. A president so confused that he doesn't know if he should be fooled again:
You want this man to know how many homosexuals, liberals and Muslims are entering the United States?
Dark, ominous times approaching...

During the Iraq/Kuwait war, which not a soul in Iraq wanted was being fought the first casualty was treated to a lavish funeral, (just like the Iraq/America war), the prime minister of Iraq said the war wouldn't go on for too long and that the country had the reserves to fight it for fivce years (which would be a very long time for a war).
So what ahppened when the casualties started getting higher and higher? Dead soldiers were turned from someone all should see and appreciate and admire to soeone whose coffin is not allowed to be taken a picture of. The war also drained Iraq of all its reserves and the country just basically fell apart.
Whats happening with the US right now? IF gwb stays in power fora ny longer than what he has so far he will destroy the country. I mean, with Saddam there were no elections, so he stayed and did what he did, but here there are, so he HAS to be taken out of office as soon as possible, because that guy is nuts.
He's given his power to Dick Cheny for like 30 days now, god knows whats going to happen now.
