A between lecture coffee
September 4th 2006 04:30
There is nothing like leaving one lecture, and realising you have the rest of the afternoon free to do what you wish. Unfortunetly, I do not yet have this luxury today.
Having nearly missed my bus to uni, sat through another dull lecture, and then discovered that the refect was only serving non-vegan friendly food today, I was at a loss for what could calm my nerves and give me the well needed time out from my stenuous procrastination, and fill the time between classes.
As uni so far away from any other form of civilisation, the only place I could turn for a decent coffee and some tasty animal-free food was the resident cafe.
With the union newsletter in one hand, a pesto wrap in the other, and a soy cappacino cooling down, I was allowed to forget for ten minutes that I was in this place called university, and that in half an hour I was going to get terribly frustrated in my next tutorial.
Thank god for the Student association cafe! One more reason i pray that the Uni does not take all this away from us.
