Stephen Hawking in Space
April 30th 2007 02:28
One of the greatest minds in science went in a zero gravity jet, enjoying the sensation of weightlessness.
Stephen Hawking, eminent physicist, was able to take a flight on a special jet that has a zero gravity environment. He looks delighted, doesn't he?
And why not? Hawking has been disabled with Lou Gehrig's disease, confining him to a wheelchair... only in zero G has he been able to move without the wheelchair. A tremendous feeling, no?

I saw this on the news.
....this is truly A Brief but important History in Time.
Just also read that this is the first time in 40 years, he has moved freely beyond his wheelchair.

It incomprehensible to imagine what it must have been like to experience those brief moments of freedom after 40 years confined.
Only question is, in space can anyone hear your voice synthesiser scream?
