Michael Moore vs. CNN

July 16th 2007 02:58
There's been a lot of stink on the internet - and on normal news! - about the feud between Michael Moore, liberal documentarian, and the undead hordes of CNN.

Michael Moore made a movie called SICKO, which tries to rip off the facade on the American health care system. It stirred up quite a bit of controversy, especially among rich Americans that have good-paying jobs and private health care, as they long to believe that the federal health care system takes care of the workers in their arms factories.

CNN then went into their vast underground tombs, until they reached the Alter of the 7th Son, Diminisius the Black-Toothed. By blooding three virgins on the carved inscription, they were able to raise a demonic minion from the evil planes of existence. They allowed his diseased soul to possess the body of heroic CNN medical correspondant, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, to make a 'fact-checking' report on television about how Moore used biased reporting to make America look worse than it really is.

And you know Moore to be spreading his lies like a pound of bacon. He fancies himself as a modern-day Guy Fawkes, but unable to convince Hugo Weaving to wear a Michael Moore mask, he has to be content with appearing on CNN.

Truly the victim here is Dr. Gupta. An honest, Indian American doctor, brings a friendly, ethnic face to CNN. He's dark enough to be equal opportunity, but just white enough to keep The Fear down in the middle states. To be possessed by a demon from the nether world is horrifying enough, but to be given incorrect facts? Well, there's nothing that a 'practising neurosurgeon' can do about that.

After all, neurosurgeons spend so much time opening people's brains that there's no time for actually watching the movie SICKO. No, that would be ludicrous. After all, after being on 2003 'Sexiest Men Alive' list, he's been hard at work to climb back on the list.

What's up with CNN? DailyKos has the rundown.

Cibbuano

I am totally confused about the fuss.
I heard MM was making a doco about the hospital system in America and I said: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

This seems to be a domestic issue for America

yep, the doc sure came up looking worse for wear after this encounter. the blogsphere has been tearing his 'facts' to shreds.

but than again i am part of the 'extreme left' as the fair and balanced people at fox news likes to brand the likes of yours truly.

Damo, I know, I wasn't too interested in seeing it. There's only so much Moore-style alarmism I can handle.

Stan, extreme left? Really?
