Latest Craze Goes Too Far - Pope Benedict XVI 'Planking'
June 8th 2011 08:43
Despite the death of a man who fell from the seventh floor balcony of a Gold Coast high rise, the planking craze continues to grow in popularity.
Planking has even spread to the Holy City. The Pope formerly known as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was snapped planking whilst clowning around with devotees at the Vatican.
Australian Cardinal James Pell described the Pope as ‘a funny bugger’ and said he loved to clown around.
“That’s probably why he likes the outfits so much,” Cardinal Pell said.
When asked about planking, Cardinal Pell said it could be done safely.
“His Holiness was in absolutely no danger,” he said, “It’s just a bit of fun!”
“We don’t take ourselves too seriously!”
The German engineered Benedict XVI is more powerful yet more economical. The Benedict XVI is faster too, with a more streamlined profile, enhanced stability and fewer emissions
Launched in 2008, the Benedict XVI has more grunt than predecessors and loads of additional safety features, plus a 10 year guarantee against defects.
