Gordon Ramsay Hits Sanctuary Cove

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has landed on the Gold Coast amid a storm of controversy. The potty mouthed Brit arrived in Australia to perform at the Sydney and Melbourne Good Food Shows and will now be demonstrating his culinary flair at a series of exclusive dinners at the Hyatt Regency, Sanctuary Cove.
Mr Ramsay made headlines in Australia and the old Blighty during a recent A Current Affair interview with Tracy Grimshaw. During the interview Mr Ramsay made numerous derogatory remarks, including referring to a mole on Ms Grimshaws’ lip as ‘your little sister.’
Ms Grimshaw handled the prickly Pom with tact, laughing off his comments. Not content with embarrassing her on air, Mr Ramsay subsequently compared her to a lesbian and a pig at one of his shows. He later offered his apologies which Ms Grimshaw has accepted, but she insists she will never interview him again.
Not surprisingly, Mr Ramsay was met by a large media contingent when he arrived on the Gold Coast. He said he will be preparing an amazing fine dining dinner. The menu includes Jerusalem artichoke soup with roasted shallots, carpaccio of beef with quail eggs, roast snapper fillet with cauliflower cream and shellfish viniagrette and coconut panna cotta with mango sorbet.
“It’s a chance to show off,” Mr Ramsay said.
