All You Can Drink & Great Food Too
November 20th 2007 03:18
The Fermented Grape Wine Restaurant is best known for its wine but it also has great food. The menu could be described as modern fusion cuisine; with dishes ranging from American barbeque pork ribs to Kamikaze oysters and Mediterranean roast vegetable tart.
Start the night with a Bloody Mary oyster shooter before progressing to one of the sublime entrees, such as the Salt and Pepper Squid served on a bed of wakame salad, or the Duck Spring Rolls with plum dipping sauce.
There is an array of magnificent main courses available as well. The Chefs signature Braised Beef Cheeks simply melt in your mouth and the Barbeque Seafood Trilogy is almost too much for one person to eat.
Another impressive highlight is the Hotrock steaks. Premium eye fillet or scotch fillet steaks are served on sizzling slabs of volcanic rock, releasing mouth watering aromas. Delectable desserts, such as the warm Plum Tart with Frangipane are also available. The full menu can be viewed at www.fermentedgrape.com.
The Fermented Grape is fully licensed and the all you can drink wine buffet is only $9.50 with the purchase of a main meal. However, the management supports Responsible Service of Alcohol and a certain standard of decorum is maintained.
Winner of the 2006 Peoples Choice Award, the Fermented Grape is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It is located on the corner of Surf Parade and Queensland Parade, Broadbeach and bookings can be made on (07) 55922199.
