Extreme Teen Adrenaline Junkies Jumping Off Bridge
November 16th 2008 07:46
What do extreme sports junkies on the Gold Coast do when the surf is dead? Jump off a 13 metre bridge into a shark infested creek with submerged rocks, that's what.
These Palm Beach teens, found a dangerous way to get an adrenaline rush by jumping off the motorway bridge into Tallebudgera Creek today.
These extremists, calling themselves ‘Bridge Bandits’ were doing bombs, tandem jumps and even somersaults off the bridge in an effort to cool off or kill themselves.
It is virtual suicide just walking along the edge of the motorway where it narrows for the bridge, which is built on jagged bedrock.
Bull sharks regularly patrol the creek when the tide is high and are attracted to the nearby waste water treatment plant.
So if the traffic, the rocks and the sharks don’t get you, the E coli will.
Enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame boys, your death wish will get you on YouTube yet.
