The tiny township of Nindigully is located on the edge of the Australian outback, about 530km west of Brisbane, near the Queensland/New South Wales border. It has become famous for Australia’s biggest burger, the Nindigully Road Train Burger. This giant hamburger is served with French fries, onion rings and a selection of sauces, and costs $36. Nindigully Pub is Queensland’s oldest pub, located in its original position on the banks of the Moonie River. The licence was issued in 1864 after operating as shearers accommodation for the Nindigully Station.

Nindigully is a busy truck stop and is also popular with bikers, tourists and grey nomads. The highlight of the year is the annual pig races, held on the last weekend in November, which raises money for the Royal Flying Doctors.

Taj Burrows Breaka Burliegh Surf Pro
Aussie surfer Taj Burrows has taken home the prize money in the Breaka Burleigh Surf Pro today. With 90 thousand dollars up for grabs, and many of the world’s best surfers heading down under for the ASP Quicksilver Pro, the line up was impressive. The early exit of Aussies Mick Fanning in the round of 32 and Bede Durbidge in the quarter finals shocked the thousands of spectators thronging the beach.

The Breaka Burleigh Surf Pro is the first professional surfing event to be held at Burleigh in almost a decade. The surf dropped off in the finals and the competitors had to wait for sets to roll in. There were plenty of aerial moves in the small but clean right handers

Five time V8 SuperCar Champion Mark Skaife met with SuperCarnivale GM Shane Howard and engineering boss John Howe this morning to go over the changes to the track, which will be reduced from 4.47 kilometres to 2.8.

With track design experience on New Zealand’s Hamilton street circuit, the Townsville 400 and Sydney’s Telstra 500, Skaifey was the ideal candidate to help reconfigure the Gold Coast Circuit. Chocicious Chocolate Teddy Valentines Day Gift
What better way to win a heart on Valentines Day than with a gift of chocolate? It is said that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, but I believe that is true of women too. Chocolates stimulating and aphrodisiac qualities have been legendary since the times of the Olmecs, Mayans and Aztecs.
Chocolate is derived from the seeds of the Cacao tree, (pronounced Ka-kow), native to Central and South America. The bitter tasting seeds are fermented, dried and roasted to produce cacao ‘nibs’. Cocoa (Ko-ko) powder is made by grinding, crushing and pressing the ‘nibs’ to remove the oil, or cocoa butter. Manufacturers add sugar, vanilla, milk and extra cocoa butter to make milk chocolate.
