Nature documentaries are always good for showing us that animals are like people that are like animals. This clip, probably from the BBC, gives us graphic details on how biologists obtain sperm samples from an elephant.
At this zoo in Germany, the elephant sperm guy is quite laissez-faire about the whole thing - but I guess he has to be:
"Penile massage is counter-productive, actually.... there's the one famous biologist who got a black eye from penis banging"
That is quite a workout. Quite a workout indeed.
