Blues On Broadbeach Serves Up Soul Food

The eighth annual Blues On Broadbeach Festival opened yesterday with Adam Hole and the Marji Curran Trio, and will run until Sunday the 31st of May at a variety of venues throughout the village. This free festival will feature more than forty-five acts, including the17 year old winner of ‘Australia’s Got Talent,’ young guitarist Joe Robinson.
Blues On Broadbeach will also feature Dai Pritchard, the guitarist in the House Band for all the "Long Way to the Top" concerts!! Dai has opened for some of the world’s biggest Music Stars including the likes of Guns n Roses, Motorhead and Iron Maiden.
Legendary blues guitarist Phil Emmanuel will be performing once again, with Will Scarlet and the Blues Busters Band. The program also features Phil Manning, 8 Ball Aitken, John Meyer’s Blues Express, James Southwell and lots more.
The festival provides a musical experience like no other in Queensland, combined with a host of award winning restaurants of every style. Alto Cucina, Oberoi’s Taj, Conrad Jupiters and Moo Moo Bar and Grill are just a few of the award winning restaurants that will be serving up the soul food.
